Praxis International Art is pleased to present recent works by Veronica Garcia Lao (b. 1965 Argentina).
By capturing fragments of everyday life, Garcia Lao’s works stand as settings that deliberately duplicate reality in which different characters reside. Aiming to explore the relationship between people and their daily urban environment, Garcia Lao’s colorful creations have the unmistakable vibrancy of our time.


Veronica García Lao was born in the province of Mendoza, Argentina in 1965. In 1976 she moves to Spain where she studies with the maestro Enrique Sobisch, in Madrid. She has been a resident of the city of Buenos Aires since 1986. As from 1989, García Lao has made over 20 exhibitions, individual and collective, in Argentina and Spain. Her works have been selected by the most prestigious art exhibitors throughout the country and she has also received several mentions as emerging artist.
